About Us - Elodie

Jenny Bochenski has long been considered the go-to girl for fashion. Whether helping her friends choose that all-important first pair of designer denim, assisting her college roommates in accessorizing for that first date, or reading stacks of fashion magazines to stay on top of the latest and greatest trends, Jenny's eye for style is well trained and has come in handy to her friends and family for years.

This fashion know how, combined with Jenny's many years of retail experience, brought about her dream of someday owning her own clothing boutique. After living in New York, Jenny moved back to Woodbury, Minnesota with her husband, and was surprised at the lack of young women's clothing boutiques in the area despite the young and stylish population of her new hometown. The idea of Elodie was born. Fortunately, Jenny's husband Brandon is always up for a challenge, and together, they got to work. After over a year of dreaming, planning, and traveling to NYC and LA to meet with designers and attend markets, Jenny and Brandon opened the doors of Elodie in November 2006. A "New York Style Boutique", Elodie carries the well known brands today's fashion forward ladies are seeking, such as (Seven for All Mankind, True Religion, Citizen’s of Humanity, Michael Stars, Free People). Elodie also features a local designer's jewelry line and other accessories to make that new outfit ready to wear with pride.

Brandon's hockey career allows the couple to travel the globe, and Jenny is continually inspired by the new and unique fashion trends in far-flung cities. Brandon currently plays for the Tampa Bay Lightning, Jenny travels between Minnesota and Florida. The Midwestern born and raised couple (she- Park River, ND, he- Blaine, MN) celebrated the birth of their first child, Sylvia, in April.
